IT research is essential for determining optimal strategies and making informed decisions in today's business environment, saturated with technological changes. Gathering information, analyzing the market, and predicting future trends give business leaders a significant advantage. That is why IT research is becoming an essential element of strategic management.
Every year, our team conducts a comprehensive study of the IT industry of Vinnytsia IT VN Research. This non-profit project allows us to investigate technologies, personnel requests, infrastructure needs, economic impact of the industry and form a portrait of the city's IT specialist.
Methodology
The study involved the implementation of two research modules:
1) Collection of general statistical data
The study processed data from the State Tax Service of Vinnytsia region and this year's All-Ukrainian IT market research from DOU, AIN, IT Ukraine, and the National Institute for Strategic Studies.
2) Own anonymous questionnaires
The data were collected using anonymous online questionnaires of IT specialists of Vinnytsia, as well as heads of HR departments of companies represented in Vinnytsia. in the period December 2024 - January 2025. The sample size was 75 random specialists and nine separate questionnaires from IT companies
This year's study's information partners were Vinnytsia City Council, AIN, TRC Vinnytsia, Radio "Misto nad Buhom," 20 minutes Vinnytsia, and I-VIN, as well as the educational and public institutions of VNTU, Beetroot Academy, and SocialBoost.
